Encyclopedia SpongeBobia is a wiki for SpongeBob SquarePants-related content. The goal of Encyclopedia SpongeBobia is to create a central information database for everything SpongeBob SquarePants-related and to make this the most accurate and largest SpongeBob SquarePants information database. The site was originally founded by Haldir on April 25th, 2007 and was adopted by AMK152 on the October 7th, 2007.
The site focuses on a lot of stuff related to SpongeBob, including shows, video games, movies, toys and many you can imagine, as the name would suggest, which is neat.
As is typical on many large wikis, you can request rights on the site as seen from here, and if your vote is successful, you'll get promoted. In terms for a page about an episode, it covers everything related to the episode, including the trivia, the reception, the plot, and images. For example, on the "Krabby Patty" page, besides the appearance and trivia, it also has information on how to make an actual krabby patty.
Because you can't send people friend requests on Fandom, users can add you as a friend there just by simply requesting them to put you on their friends list which is fairly easy.
Users can express their own opinions on SpongeBob episodes whether it's unpopular or not.
Like the Dragon's Dogma Wiki and Batman Wiki, a lot of pages have a lot of information about Synopsis, Trivia, Development on the episode and video game articles, some other pages around the wiki are very detailed.
The templates in the wiki are helpful like the "Spoiler" template if a show, episode, etc. came out a week or so and the "Future" template if the stuff the page focuses on is not out yet.
While a lot of blogs like the blogs Idroppedmypen or SpongeTron D makes are sorta off-topic, they can be funny for off-topic blogs.
Proposals are also helpful as you can propose a fix a problem with the site and then everything may or may not end up good.
They also paid respects to the dead since they respected a user named "CheeseRoxTheWorld" (one of the former discussion moderators on the site) who sadly passed away due to a drowning accident which happened 4 days before her 19th birthday.
The Encyclopedia SpongeBobia Discord is just as good as the wiki.
The wiki improved again after 2021 (exception would be the UCP theme).
Even though some admins are inactive and barely doing their job, new admins (such as Stryker305, BSpongeSM02, FireMatch, Thelxinoe, and The Smarter, Wiser King Dedede) came to the site to replace the older admins.
H&Hs and the other stuff ESB has until the UCP update was moved to the discussions so people can relive the old ESB days and just like the blogs, there's a category for off-topic posts so you can still have a good time. In fact, thanks to the discussions and the announcement Spongebob456 made, it almost felt like ESB never went to UCP.
Much like Pawn Community, a lot of nice users are on this site such as SpongeTron D (a.k.a Tronyboy 03 on Miraheze and Discord; possibly the best one out of all of them), WoofWoofGam3r, BSpongeSM02, Robski10, Luigi is our god, GoldenSpongebob, BookFandumb, Golfpecks256 (he sadly retired however), Mavnol111, Anthony2306, Cmcgrath26, DanielogiPL, SquidTron C, Eliternal, FireMatch, Thelxinoe, The Smarter, Wiser King Dedede, LarryBoy fan, PinkPugPrincess, The Aura Warrior of Something from Whatever, Scrooge200, AFVuser, etc.
There are some users who used to be bad but changed their ways like WoofWoofGam3r, Jensonk, DecemberPlayz, BookFandumb, and SquidTron C.
There is an obese administrator named BSpongeSM02 who eats Cheetos while playing Fortnite. He blocks trolls and saves the wiki! On the contrary, there is also a very buff administrator named Anthony2306 who eats salads while working out and also blocks trolls.
Unlike other FANDOM wikis, it doesn't suffer from the problems you would see from your average wiki on FANDOM such as poor moderation, vandalism, edit warring, irresponsible admins, SJWs, etc.
Edit warring on this wiki is almost always resolved quickly due to the at least one administrator being active for almost all hours of the day.
The wiki also spawned other SpongeBob related wikis such as SpongeBob Fanon Wiki, Encyclopedia SpongeBobia Wiki (closed), Anti-ScumBob Wiki, ESB Shows Wiki, and the wiki's Miraheze counterpart.
Before the ESB chat retired due to the UCP update, Golf announced a party in the chat so people could spend their final times in the ESB chat.
Twice every year, the site has user reviews where you vote or oppose if the ESB crew members and give out your own reasons for why they should keep their rights or remove their rights.
The site also makes pages on people who plays in the show, one of the examples is the page on Bob Kulick , who played the guitar in the Sweet Victory song. Another example of this is the page on David Lander , who voice acted for Donnie in the "Sharks vs. Pods" episode.
Going back to the templates, a lot of them are funny like the "We paid nine dollars for this?" joke a.k.a pun on the stub template.
They even made pages on years to show off what SpongeBob related things happen during those years.
They also made pages on companies that develops video games for the show. An example of those pages is PHL Collective, which developed The Patrick Star Game.
A lot of funny jokes around here and there when it comes to being satire.
Whenever a comment is more than 60 days old, the replies are locked, saying "This comment thread is more than 60 days old. There is no need to reply."
If it wasn't for this site, most school students wouldn't be able to get some info if they're doing SpongeBob projects.
Out of all the places to get great high quality SpongeBob images (like the fact the Amazon SpongeBob DVD images are pretty low quality), these wikis have the most perfect SpongeBob image qualities out of all of them, this is where Duchess got his images for his Battle for Bikini Bottom page on the Awesome Games Wiki, along with all the SpongeBob season DVDs and the Season 13 SpongeBob image for the "SpongeBob SquarePants (Seasons 1-5, 9-present)" page on Best Shows & Episodes Wiki and the "SpongeBob SquarePants (Seasons 6-8)" page on Terrible Shows & Episodes Wiki.
Bad Qualities
While a lot of pages are good, there are still a lot of bad pages on the wiki like the Kamp Koral pages, Saving Bikini Bottom pages, and SpongeBob Simulator pages.
Even though the pages are well detailed, like every other wiki on the site, there are also article stubs.
There have been several instances of drama on the wiki, although it has thankfully died out somewhat recently.
A lot of users' reasons to vote oppose, keep on deletion requests, keep separate on merge requests, keep combined on separation requests, or dislike on contests can sometimes be invalid, too strict, or circle-jerking.
The overusage of the words "babe" and "hot" can get extremely annoying for a number of reasons.
At times, the users can be massive hypocrites (mostly users who cause drama) like on the wiki's Discord server.

Reception
Encyclopedia SpongeBobia has a high Google rank for searches related to SpongeBob SquarePants making it one of the biggest SpongeBob related websites out there. It is also considered to be the best FANDOM wiki out of all of them for FANDOM haters as a lot of them said this site is decent despite FANDOM wikis mostly being bad. The wiki is also one of the biggest cartoon wikis out of all of them.
