MobyGames is a wiki dedicated to all video games and discusses everything related to them; it was founded in 1999 by Jim Leonard and Brian Hirt and is hosted by Atari, which is based in France in Paris.
Why It's a Moby Genius[edit]
- This wiki is very rich in various functions that separate one part from the others, making it neater.
- The library is incredibly extensive and includes literally every gaming platform out there.
- It has a very extensive search engine, which is even better than Wikipedia because you can use a category filter.
- Unlike other wiki-like sites, here you can rate the game, so you can express your opinion and even write a review.
- Just like Miraheze:This wiki has a total absence of any ads; in other words, no frustration whatsoever.
- You can add more information to a page than any other wiki, and it's easier without using too much text.
The Only Bad Quality[edit]
- It's very hard to contribute here because an edit has to be approved by a moderator and edits are very often skipped although this is to prevent spam and vandalism, also it doesn't work on MediaWiki.
