TV Tropes is an wiki for tropes commonly found in media. It was founded in April 2004 from a thread on a now-defunct Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan forum known as Buffistas.org.

Why It want play with us[edit]

  1. The site is a very useful tool for finding different tropes found in media.
  2. Many of the website's pages are very well written and filled with clever humor.
  3. Many of the tropes have subsections, including the "Playing With" sections that helps explain how different tropes are used.
  4. Many of the pages about media also have subsections, including funny moments, heartwarming moments, tear jerker moments, nightmare fuel moments and even individual recaps of episodes.
  5. The website has a particular system for creating a trope to prevent unnecessary tropes from flooding the wiki.
  6. The wiki has fan forums where people can discuss media.

The Only Bad Quality[edit]

  1. The wiki's software is very hard to use, making it difficult to edit pages.
