Uncyclopedia is a wiki that parodies Wikipedia. Founded in 2005 by Chronarion and Stillwaters, Uncyclopedia was sold to Fandom (then known as Wikia) in 2006; it became independent again in 2019 when Fandom didn't want to host it anymore due to some of its content and shut it down.
Why It's Funny
It's the original parody wiki; it set the bar for what makes good parody and inspired the creation of many other satirical wikis, such as Satirapedia, Weirdcyclopedia etc.
Its style of comedy has held up very well ever since its founding; many pages can still get a laugh or two.
It doesn't just dedicate itself to being a parody of Wikipedia; it also parodies other Wikimedia projects (such as Wikinews) and even parodies game sites with UnGames.
The logo is also funny and it looks like a potato.
Intentionally Bad Qualities
Some of its content can be offensive to those who aren't used to black/Dark comedy.
Much like Wikipedia, there can be some inappropriate images found on the wiki.
